MGK PRODUCTIONS INC.
PURPOSE, MISSION, GOAL
Our purpose is to serve the community and provide a platform of education in performing arts; To promote drama, music, dance, ballet, performing arts and acting workshops; To maintain, develop and manage a theater or center to carry out all such activities as may be promoted by MGK.
MGK Productions provides an emotional outlet and support to our community and those struggling with life’s issues. This support includes building character, boosting self-confidence, building empathy, and changing lives in meaningful ways through performing arts; educational programs; rounding up the right volunteers; securing financial support, and other initiatives and training to new actors/actresses desiring to express their passion through the arts.
Our Goal is to provide a platform for theater work and training for our youths and adults in the community. We will provide musicals, cultural and arts programs that celebrates and express the diversity of the community, and make available a voice for groups in the community that may otherwise go unheard.
We at MGK Productions Inc, are excited about our fine arts education program for our community youths and those struggling with life issues. We have set a platform for training new actors that desire to express their talents and express their passion through the arts. Our program will offer fine art disciplines for youths 4-19. our classes will include study in acting, musical theatre, voice lessons, dance and much more!
MGK Productions Inc, was a dream of our Director, Margaret Washington. It has through rigorous efforts, passion and commitment touched the hearts of many within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our team of well-trained actors who are ready to run the course of reaching the world with a message that will cause one to examine their hearts to live better lives..
Back by popular demand! The Misconception of Love is being revived back to the stage.
Our group of extraordinarily committed cast, were so moved by The Misconception of Love Play, they decided to give all of their time, energy, love, vacations, weekends to this project to make it a success!
Through powerful acting scenes, singing and dancing we're reminded of the wonderful message the Father, left us on how to love and live a blessed, purposeful life whether you are young or old. We are a non-profit organization and we made up entirely of volunteers, our rehearsals begin in January and conclude with a show on Good Friday of every year.
